ADP Revs Up Managed VoIP Services with Acme Packet

CHICAGO--Acme Packet® , the leader in session border control solutions, today announced that Automatic Data Processing, Inc. , through its wholly-owned subsidiary IP Networked Services, is leveraging Acme Packets Net-Net® session border controllers (SBCs) to offer a hosted PBX service, ADP Network Phone ASP, to the automotive and truck vertical markets.

With Acme Packets SBCs, ADP is delivering an advanced suite of VoIP services to their customers. The SBCs provide critical features in a multiservice architecture, at both the access and interconnect borders, to satisfy ADPs security, service reach and SLA assurance requirements. To address the FCC mandate for VoIP lawful intercept, ADP uses Acme Packets SBCs, in conjunction with other elements, to comply with CALEA. The SBCs are deployed in ADPs data center in a high-availability configuration to help assure maximum service availability.
