Kia Motors America Announces New Vice President of Sales

Tom Loveless Joins Kia

IRVINE, Calif., June 15 -- Kia Motors America, Inc. (KMA) announced today that Tom Loveless will be joining the company as vice president of sales, effective June 20, 2007.

In his new position, Loveless will report to Len Hunt, executive vice president and chief operating officer, who has personally handled the company's sales functions since February 2006.

Loveless comes to Kia after a successful 24-year career with DaimlerChrysler. Most recently, he served as director, U.S. market volume planning where he was responsible for all retail and fleet sales planning in the United States. His primary role was to optimize corporate profitability through the proper balance of volume and mix. Prior positions include director, Dodge brand marketing and communications; director, U.S. field sales operations; and director, sales and service, Washington, D.C. Zone.
