MTC and Caltrans to Release Bay Area Highway Congestion Data for 2006
Top 10 Traffic Hot Spots in 2006 WHEN: 11 a.m., Monday, June 18, 2007 WHAT: The Metropolitan Transportation Commission (MTC) and Caltrans District 4 will present newly compiled data measuring congestion levels on Bay Area freeways in 2006. Included in this closely watched gauge of annual traffic conditions will be congestion figures at the regional, county and individual freeway segment level, including the "top 10 congestion hot spots" for the year. WHERE: Joseph P. Bort MetroCenter, 101 Eighth Street, Oakland (corner of Oak Street, across from the Lake Merritt BART station). The event will be held on the outdoor patio of the LunchStop Café, on the first floor of the MetroCenter.
