GRAND AM (DAYTONA) - Featherlite Vantar Village to Debut at Mid-Ohio
The Featherlite Vantaré Village, a new way of doing business at the track while enhancing the motorsports entertainment experience, will be introduced next weekend to the Grand-Am Rolex Sports Car Series presented by Crown Royal Special Reserve during the EMCO Gears Classic June 23-24 at the Mid-Ohio Sports Car Course in Lexington, Ohio.
A new feature of the popular Sahlen’s Paddock Club, Vantaré Village will offer members an up-scale option at selected Grand-Am Rolex Series weekends that features several exclusive services and amenities as well as a menu of fine foods and beverages. The new area, featuring a deluxe Vantaré coach, will be equipped with high-speed internet and large-screen televisions, which will keep members up-to-date with what is happening on the race track as well as the outside business world.
“As the Grand-Am Rolex Sports Car Series has grown we have been frequently asked and also felt the need internally to provide a more upscale extension of the Sahlen’s Paddock Club,” said Grand-Am President Roger Edmondson. “Vantaré Village will provide members with a proper, at-track business setting in which they can conduct meetings or simply relax with clients and close colleagues.”
Vantaré is a deluxe coach manufactured by Featherlite Coaches, Inc., which offers travelers the utmost luxurious living accommodations, interior choices and leading-edge technological features. The coaches are manufactured in Sanford, Fla. At Featherlite Coaches, Inc. customers have over 200 amenities and state-of-the-art options to choose from as they create a one-of-a-kind luxury coach designed to accommodate their every need.
As part of the Vantaré Village launch at Mid-Ohio, each organization that has purchased a group of passes to that weekend’s Sahlen’s Paddock Club will be offered a pair of complimentary passes to Vantaré Village. Both the Sahlen’s Paddock Club and Vantaré Village will be located just steps from the Grand-Am paddock at Mid-Ohio.

The introduction of the Vantaré Village marks the second big Grand-Am announcement for Sahlen’s this month. On Friday of the recent Sahlen’s Six Hours of the Glen weekend, Sahlen’s reiterated its Grand-Am support by extending its partnership as the official hot dog of Grand-Am through the end of 2009. Sahlen’s will also continue to provide its food service at the track through the Sahlen’s Paddock Club, which feeds members, competitors, officials and others throughout selected race weekends.
