FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

SCCA Soloists Battle Rain and Cones in Devens

DEVENS, Mass. (June 12, 2007) - Heavy rain and lightning on Saturday
couldn't dampen the spirits of SCCA Soloists in Devens. Competitors were
rewarded with much more pleasant weather on Sunday for the seventh stop
on the 2007 Tire Rack(r) SCCA Solo National Tour.

Christopher I. Carris, of Fishkill, N.Y., was the victor in a large A
Stock field. Carris powered his Subaru WRX STi to a 1.404-second win
over 13 other competitors thanks to a blistering Sunday run of 55.291
seconds, which was untouchable by the other A Stockers.

Another large crowd could be found in F Stock, where Lynne M
Rothney-Kozlak, of Litchfield, Maine, took home the first place trophy
in a Red Haus Racing Chevrolet IROC 350, which she shared with her
husband Paul who finished fourth.

Cara Ness, of Medfield, Mass., was the class of the field in the Street
Touring Xtreme Ladies category, beating out the competition by 7.611
seconds in the Fun Hondas Racing Honda Civic Si. The same car would also
take STX honors at the hands of Robert Lapierre, from Sturbridge, Mass.

The cross country trip from Vancouver, Wash., was well worth it for
Jerry Jenkins who took the E Stock victory in the Americas Tire/Maynard
Racing Mazda Miata.

Cones became a deciding factor in E Prepared where Andrew S. Furlong, of
Johnstown, N.Y., beat out Paul Krysiak, of Tolland, Conn., by just
0.017-second. At the wheel of a Volkswagen Rabbit GTI, Furlong had one
less cone than Krysiak in the AT&T/Hoosier Tire East Honda Civic.

A similar tale played out in Street Touring S, where Chris Shenfeild, of
Dallas, Pa., won the class in a Bridgestone/RedShift Motorsports Honda
Civic Si by 0.180-second over Keith P Casey, of Somerset, Mass., who had
multiple cone penalties in his RallyDecals.com/Fun Hondas Racing Honda
Civic Si.

Saturday's Pace Hot Pursuit Award for the most consistent lap times of
the day went to William Goodale, of Milford, Mass., who also won the A
Modified class in his Dragon F1. Brian Reeves, of Rochester, N.Y., in D
Prepared was the Sunday Pace Hot Pursuit winner. Both Goodale and Reeves
are now entered to win a Pace Pursuit(r) trailer at the end of the
season.
