TEAM REPORT (FORT WORTH) - AGR POST-RACE COMMENTS

Danica Patrick, #7 Motorola Dallara/Honda/Firestone "The Motorola car was pretty good tonight. We had good pit stops and overall as a team, I thought we did pretty good. I'm not going to lie - when the accident happened towards the end of the race I was like, 'Wow, there are a lot of good cars out of this one. This might be (the night).' But, with Sam and Tony still out there, I knew it was going to be difficult. I just wish we'd have had a little bit more time at the end."

Tony Kanaan, #11 Team 7-Eleven Dallara/Honda/Firestone "I don't think we had the car to finish second today so I have to give a lot of credit to the 7-Eleven crew. They did a fantastic job in the pits. I had huge problems with my brakes but this is a lot better than one year ago. I've got to thank Eric Cowdin (race engineer) and all of my engineers and team owners who gave us the money to go develop this thing on the wind tunnel because it's obviously paying off. This is a very good race for us for the championship."

Marco Andretti, #26 NYSE Dallara/Honda/Firestone "First of all, I have to apologize to Tomas (Scheckter). I thought he had enough room. It was obviously completely unintentional. Then we lost fifth gear. I tried to go with sixth but we were running too slow. I tried to come in for a pit stop and things with the NYSE car were not working properly. It's a real bummer for the crew. They gave me a very good race car; one that could run at the front. Here we go again."

Dario Franchitti, #27 Canadian Club Dallara/Honda/Firestone "Losing fifth gear in the first pit stop made it very difficult on the restarts. We lost momentum on the restarts, which was when others really seemed to capitalize. I think I broke it coming through the gears after the pit stop. All in all it was a really good day for the Canadian Club team for the championship. We took advantage of some other people's misfortunes and we raced as hard as we could today."
