CruiseCam International Joins Connected Vehicle Trade Association
FARMINGTON HILLS, Mich.--CruiseCam International Inc. (Pink Sheets:CCMJ), a leading developer of vehicle video integrated technology for law enforcement and motor sports application, is pleased to announce today that it has joined the Connected Vehicle Trade Association (CVTA), a non-profit, business league for the automotive sector (www.connectedvehicle.org).
Scott McCormick, President of CVTA, announced CruiseCam’s membership at its annual Conference last week, adding, “We are excited about CruiseCam’s involvement in our organization and the thought leadership they are providing for the development of the Connected Vehicle Proving Center. CruiseCam brings a wealth of technical expertise and industry acumen to our organization, and we look forward to working to advance their interests in the vehicle communications environment.”
Concurrently, the Company announced the election of CruiseCam International CEO Scott Watkins to the Proving Center Technical Advisory Committee of the CVTA. As a member of the Connected Vehicle Proving Center (CVPC) Technical Advisory Committee, Watkins will actively participate to provide guidance for the development and operations of the CVPC. The Advisory Committee is responsible for developing the overall framework of the Proving Center Concept and defining the technical criteria for the elements (facilities, computational, networking and communication capability, in-vehicle devices and roadside equipment) deemed to be both necessary and available for the Proving Center to accomplish its objectives.
