Date Set for Solo Nationals Test and Tune
TOPEKA, Kan. (June 4, 2007) - The National Test N Tune for the 2007 Tire
Rack(r) SCCA Solo National Championships has been set for Sunday,
September 23, with registration opening on July 2.
The event registration fee is $25 for five runs. Soloists can register
online at www.scca.com <http://www.scca.com/> or download the form and
send it to the SCCA national office via fax or mail. Those who do not
have internet access may contact the SCCA Solo department at
1-800-770-2055 to have a registration form sent to them. Registering
over the phone is an additional option, but incurs an additional $50
processing fee. Once a competitor is registered there are no
cancellations or refunds. Registration is capped at 600 participants.
Check-in will be open on site from 7:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m., with runs
taking place from 8:00 am to 4:00 p.m. At check-in, competitors will
receive five tickets to be used at anytime throughout the day on either
the east or west course. The courses used for the National Test N Tune
will be those used for the Tire Rack(r) SCCA ProSolo Finale with slight
modifications. Run times will not be posted, but competitors will
receive a time slip at the end of each run.
National Test N Tune participants are required to work one hour of the
event. Work assignments will be made at check-in when tickets are
collected.
Tech will have limited morning hours at the National Test N Tune. There
is a single tech for the ProSolo Finale, National Test N Tune and Solo
National Championships.
The Tire Rack(r) Solo National Championships will take place September
