Leveraging its leadership position in the touring market category and innovative Michelin tire design, construction, siping and manufacturing technologies, the new Michelin Primacy MXV4 tire delivers an unprecedented and uncompromising combination of benefits that significantly boosts wear life without sacrificing handling performance for a wide spectrum of automobiles and driving styles.

The latest innovations featured in the Michelin Primacy MXV4 tire include:

-- More Miles for Your Money: Michelin Primacy MXV4 tires offer Michelin
Advanced MaxTouch Construction(TM) technology, a unique shape and tire
design that provides long-lasting, even tread wear backed by a 60,000-
     mile manufacturer's warranty for H-and V-speed ratings.

-- Maximum Comfort: Michelin Comfort Control(TM) technology uses both a
computer-optimized tread design and precision manufacturing to greatly
reduce vibration and road noise, and help deliver one of the most
     comfortable rides in the industry.

-- Get Better Control When You Need It Most: Michelin's innovative tread
design incorporates "active sipes" that alternately lock together and
open as needed to provide biting edges to grip the road for improved
all-season handling especially in rain and snow. Sipes are thin
grooves across individual tread blocks that deliver enhanced
     performance.

"Until now, touring tire consumers have had to choose between comfort, handling and extended wear," said Parmeet Grover, Michelin brand director, Michelin North America. "The Primacy MXV4 tire sets a new standard in the touring tire market by offering a 60,000-mile warranty without compromising driving performance in all types of conditions especially in wet braking and handling situations."

The Michelin Primacy MXV4 tire is the next generation of the popular MXV4 tire. The previous Energy(TM) MXV4(R) series helped define the ride for vehicles ranging from the Honda Accord to the Mercedes-Benz S-Class. Primacy MXV4 tires are offered in 32 dimensions, ranging from 185/65R15 to 225/60R18 in H-speed-rated and 195/60R15 to 245/45R18 in V-speed-rated. The Primacy MXV4 tire will be available at tire dealers starting in June 2007.

Dedicated to the improvement of sustainable mobility, Michelin designs, manufactures and sells tires for every type of vehicle, including airplanes, automobiles, bicycles, earthmovers, farm equipment, heavy-duty trucks, motorcycles and the space shuttle. The company also publishes travel guides, hotel and restaurant guides, maps and road atlases.
