Ward's Auto Interiors Show Panel on Gm Global Purchasing Strategy to Feature Speakers from GM Purchasing and Engineering, Johnson Controls, Lear
NEW YORK--Ward’s Auto Interiors Show® will feature a new conference panel on General Motors’ global purchasing strategy, to take place at 11:00 AM on June 7 at Cobo Hall in Detroit. The panel will be headlined by Bo Andersson, GM’s vice president of global purchasing and supply chain. He will be joined by Kim Brycz, GM’s executive director of purchasing-interiors, as well as representatives from GM Engineering and GM’s two top interior suppliers, Johnson Controls Inc. and Lear Corp. The panel will explore General Motors’ efforts to strengthen its relations with suppliers, while leveraging purchasing and engineering synergies on a global scale, and will be moderated by John Henke, president & CEO of Planning Perspectives Inc.
The show will also feature the annual Ward’s Auto Interior of the Year Awards. This year’s nominees include 34 outstanding vehicle interiors from 11 manufacturers.
