Quantum Awarded Contract by Force Protection to Support Engineering and Production of Armored Military Vehicles

IRVINE, Calif., May 31, 2007 -- Quantum Fuel Systems Technologies Worldwide, Inc. today announced that its Tecstar Automotive Group was awarded a contract by Force Protection, Inc. of Ladson, South Carolina to provide engineering design and production support for its Mine Resistant Ambush Protected (MRAP) military vehicles. The initial efforts under this contract include prototype vehicle builds and manufacturing process development.
