Toyota Motor Sales, USA Announces Organizational Changes

TORRANCE, CA - May 30, 2007: Toyota Motor Sales (TMS) USA, Inc. today announced organizational changes at its headquarters and throughout its Toyota and Lexus field offices.

TMS Headquarters

Bill Fay, vice president and general manager, Los Angeles region, is appointed vice president, sales, replacing Dave Fleming who was recently appointed vice president and general manager of the New York region. Fay will report to Bob Carter, group vice president and general manager of the Toyota Division.

Randy Pflughaupt, vice president, distribution operations, is appointed vice president of marketing, replacing Jim Farley who was recently appointed group vice president and general manager of the Lexus Division. Pflughaupt will also report to Carter.

George Christoff, vice president and general manager of the Cincinnati region, is appointed vice president, distribution operations, replacing Pflughaupt. Christoff will report to Al Cabito, group vice president, sales administration.

Nancy Davies, vice president, retail market development, is appointed vice president of North American planning, a position previously held by Steve Sturm who recently transferred to Toyota Motor North America in New York. Davies will report to Bob Daly, group vice president, North American planning.

Ernest Bastien, vice president, vehicle operations group, is appointed vice president, retail market development, replacing Nancy Davies. Bastien will report to Cabito.

Tim Morrison, general manager of the Boston region, is appointed to the newly created position of corporate manager, marketing, car/van. Morrison will be responsible for the launch, training and execution of strategies for cars and vans. Morrison will report to Pflughaupt.

Doug Murtha, corporate manager, product planning, is appointed to the newly created position of corporate manager, marketing operations. Murtha will be responsible for Toyota Division initiatives and incentives, cross- vehicle-line marketing and market intelligence. Murtha will report to Pflughaupt.

Brian Smith, corporate manager, truck, is appointed corporate manager, marketing, truck/SUV. With the added SUV responsibility, Smith is responsible for the launch, training and execution of strategies for both trucks and SUVs. Smith will report to Pflughaupt.

Dave Depew, general manager of the Lexus Eastern area, is appointed to the newly created position of corporate manager, distribution. Depew will be responsible for day-to-day production planning within distribution operations. Depew will report to Christoff.

Ed Laukes, general manager of the New York region, was recently appointed to the newly created position of corporate manager marketing, motorsports. Laukes is responsible for the Toyota Division's marketing efforts for motorsports.

Steve Haag, corporate manager, Scion, is appointed corporate manager, private distributors, replacing Jack Hollis. Haag will report to Fay.

Jack Hollis, corporate manager, private distributors, is appointed corporate manager, Scion, replacing Haag. Hollis will report to Mark Templin, vice president of Scion.

TOYOTA DIVISION FIELD ORGANIZATION
The following executives will report to Bill Fay, vice president of sales:

Jeff Bracken, general manager, Lexus Western area, is appointed general manager, Los Angeles region, replacing Fay.

Clyde Dyson, general manager, Portland region, is appointed general manager, Cincinnati region, replacing George Christoff.

Mark Del Rosso, general manager, Lexus Southern area, is appointed general manager, Portland region, replacing Clyde Dyson.

Chris Cento, assistant general manager, Los Angeles region, is promoted to general manager, Boston region, replacing Tim Morrison.

LEXUS DIVISION FIELD ORGANIZATION
The following executives will report to Jim Colon, vice president, Lexus sales and dealer development:

Rick Lofaso, national manager, market planning, is promoted to general manager, Lexus Western area, replacing Jeff Bracken.

Kevin Cour, assistant general manager, Portland region, is promoted to general manager, Lexus Eastern area, replacing Dave Depew.

D'Anne Duclos, general manager, Lexus Central area, is appointed general manager, Lexus Southern area, replacing Mark DelRosso.

Dan Swartz, national manager, sales and production planning, is promoted to general manager, Lexus Central area, replacing D'Anne Duclos.
