Toledo Recap: After starting 27th, Dominick Casola avoided carnage and chaos to net an 18th place finish at Toledo Speedway two weeks ago in the Hantz Group 200 by Federated Auto Care. Casola was in contention for his first career top-10 effort but a contact from another competitor dashed away those hopes. No Slouch At Iowa: Despite no experience in an ARCA RE/MAX Series car at Iowa Speedway, Casola does have experience in a USAR (United Speed Alliance Racing) Hooter’s Pro Cup Race at the recently built facility. Momentum Continues: After notching a career best 16th at Kentucky and a 18th at Toledo Speedway, Casola hopes to turn his top-20 performances into his first top-10 finish on Saturday nigh under the lights. He will join the ARCA sanction for their second ever race held in Newton, Iowa. Experience High And Low: Car owner Andy Belmont will serve two duties at Iowa Speedway this weekend. In addition to calling the shots as crew chief, Belmont will also serve as Casola’s spotter this weekend. Point Standings: Competing in only eight of the nine races on the 2007 ARCA RE/MAX Series schedule, Casola sits 21st in the championship standings just 45 points from 20th place competitor Brian Keselowski. 18th place competitor Todd Bowsher is not expected to compete this weekend at Iowa assuring a good run at Iowa will at least move Casola up one-position.
