17th place finish.
Iowa Return: Dexter Bean and his BlackJack Racing team are looking forward
to Iowa Speedway this weekend. Bean went into the ARCA record books last year
by claiming the fastest lap of the event in addition to leading the first
practice overall. In the race, Bean finished seventh after starting 19th, the
final car on the lead lap.
Thinking Ahead: The BlackJack Racing recently announced that Bean will

to fourth in the ARCA RE/MAX Series points heading into the second event held

BlackJack Racing, Iowa Speedway Pre-Race Quotes:
Dexter Bean, driver of the No. 6 Five Star Telecom Chevrolet Monte Carlo:
On Toledo: “It was devastating. We didn’t need that finish. We were taken
out by a driver who showed over aggression and wasn’t on the lead lap. We can
do nothing about the finish but keep our head high and move forward.??
On Iowa Speedway: “I love Iowa Speedway. We had a chance to win that race
last year, but we came up a little short. I have a good feeling about Saturday
night’s race and I’m looking forward to putting our team back up front.??
On The Points Race: “We lost some ground at Toledo. We’re still early in
the season, but we cannot afford to have any more bad races. Hopefully these
last two events will be the worst luck we’ll have all season.??
On The Second Straight Race Being Televised: “It’s good for the ARCA
RE/MAX Series races to be live on television. As a team we’re trying to prove we
have all the right ingredients while also trying to gain the exposure to help
up secure a full-time sponsor. The next couple races are live on television
and that’s a bonus for all my family and friends back home at Wisconsin.??
