rivalry of the race following their on track confrontations at Toledo, on Inside
The ARCA RE/MAX Series, a online radio show dedicated to the ARS.
Inaugural Event: Tanner, a successful dirt late model driver from

start in the only race held at Iowa Speedway this season. In addition to Toledo

Daytona International Speedway in a Ford prepared by longtime ARCA owner and
former driver Bob Schacht. Tanner made his debut with SCR at Kentucky
Speedway last month qualifying 24th and finishing 17. With 10 races left on his
schedule, Tanner is utilizing this season to prepare himself for a full ARCA tour
in 2008.
Calling The Shots: Corrie Stott, a veteran crew chief in the NASCAR ranks
will serve as both the owner and crew chief for Tanner’s bid this weekend.

Stott Classic Racing, Iowa Speedway Pre-Race Quotes:
Billy Tanner, driver of the No. 07 _CheapCaribbean.com_
(http://www.cheapcaribbean.com/) Chevrolet:
On Toledo: “It wasn’t a bad race, but not exactly what we were looking for.
The guys did a great job; we just didn’t expect to drop a cylinder. The car
is in good shape and that’s the main thing.??
On Stott Classic Racing: “We are getting better. We are running the next
three races together, so that keeps everyone in check. Corrie has done a great
with the team; we’re all looking forward to the rest of the season.??
On Iowa: “I’ve never been to Iowa, but I’ve heard it’s a great place to
race. I’m looking forward to getting some more track time and expanding my
resume a little too. This is our last short track for a while before we head to
the bigger tracks of Pocono and Michigan. We plan to make a statement on
Saturday.??
On The ARCA RE/MAX Series: “I continue to state that the ARCA RE/MAX Series
is a great place for young drivers such as myself to come and develop in
stock cars. I’ve surrounded myself with great people and the ARCA RE/MAX Series
personnel are good to work with. I’m happy to be competing in the ARS this
season.
