Proseat Launches Co-Operation With Foamline in Russia

MOERFELDEN-WALLDORF, Germany, May 25, 2007 -- Proseat GmbH + Co KG and Foamline plan to establish a joint operation for the production of moulded foam for automotive seating on the Russian territory. The place and size of the new operation will be defined in the course of the next months, so that the implementation can be started by the end of the year at the latest.

This new partnership will serve the expanding automotive market in Russia and is part of Proseat's strategy to improve the business in emerging markets.

Therefore Foamline would support the partnership with its expertise of the Russian market and business environment, as well as with its industrial infrastructure. Proseat would support the partnership with its expertise of the automotive market and the Polyurethane moulded foam production technology.

Proseat (the joint venture between Recticel and Woodbridge), which currently has thirteen production sites in nine countries (such as Belgium, Germany, France, the Czech Republic, Spain, Poland, Italy, Slovakia and the United Kingdom) is one of the leading manufacturers of moulded foam products for automotive seating in Europe.

The Foamline Group is the leading producer of flexible polyurethane foam with 15 factories all over the CIS (Commonwealth of Independent States) territory. As the key market of Foamline is mainly the furniture and upholstery industry, the partnership with Proseat will be one step towards the automotive industry.
