NASCAR NCTS (DAYTONA) - Penalty Issued for Unauthorized Duplication of a NASCAR Annual Credential

NASCAR announced today that Douglas Mercier has been fined $5,000 and suspended indefinitely from the sport for his unauthorized duplication of a NASCAR annual credential. The rule infraction occurred May 18 at Lowe’s Motor Speedway.
Mercier violated Section 12-4-A (actions detrimental to stock car racing; unauthorized duplication of a NASCAR annual credential) of the 2007 NASCAR rule book.
