Jacobs Receives Honda R&D Contract

PASADENA, Calif., May 15, 2007 -- Jacobs Engineering Group Inc. announced today that it received a contract from Honda R&D Co. Ltd. to design and construct an automotive wind tunnel in Japan to test full-scale vehicles. The test programs in this new wind tunnel will be dedicated to vehicle development, fuel efficiency, and reduced emissions.

Officials did not disclose the contract value.

In making the announcement, Jacobs President and CEO Craig Martin stated, "This contract provides an excellent opportunity to advance our support of the automotive industry and we look forward to delivering a wind tunnel dedicated to an OEM. We have worked closely with Honda R&D to define their testing requirements and performance specifications for their new wind tunnel."
