Now in its fourth season, Tavis Smiley continues its mission to introduce Americans to each other by offering stimulating conversation with a diverse mix of trendsetters and opinion makers from arts and entertainment to politics and media. The clips will feature highlights of Tavis interviews with such diverse notables as actor Jamie Foxx, commentator Bill Maher, Apple co-founder Steve Wozniak, rap artist Chuck D, former secretary of state Warren Christopher and singer Natalie Cole.
Taped at KCET’s historical Hollywood facilities, the series is produced by The Smiley Group Inc./TS Media Inc. in association with KCET.
“Transit TV’s new, innovative media service is a wonderful way to spread the word about Tavis and his unique, thought-provoking series,” says Mare Mazur, executive vice president, programming and production for KCET.
“Transit TV is constantly searching for high-quality, entertaining programming for its young, multi-cultural audience,” said Gerry Noble, CEO and President of Transit TV. “The Tavis Smiley mobisodes achieve this perfectly.”
