Porsche Cars North America Reports April Sales for Canada

ATLANTA--Porsche Cars North America, Inc. (PCNA), importer and distributor of Porsche sports cars and Cayenne SUVs in the United States and Canada, today announced April sales of 233, a slight decrease over last April's strong figure of 273.

March sales in Canada showed a strong demand for Porsche's recently introduced new 2008 Cayenne, which enjoyed a sales increase of 32 percent. The company sold a total of 82 new Cayennes compared to 62 the same time last year.

March showed continuing demand for Porsche's 911 with sales of 94 this April compared to 99 last year.

In addition, dealers sold 45 Porsche Approved Certified Pre-Owned vehicles, compared to 38 for the same period last year.
