Tritex Corporation Acquired by Harbour Group
WATERBURY, Conn.--Tritex Corporation, the parent company of the Haydon companies, has been acquired by the Harbour Group family of companies.
Haydon which operates 11 facilities on three continents was founded here in 1951. The global headquarters for the company will remain here in Waterbury.
Haydon’s products include high performance fractional horsepower linear actuators, lead screw assemblies, rotary stepper motors and hermetically sealed switches for niche market applications. The company’s strategy has focused on product development based on customer needs and efficient global manufacturing. It has an outstanding reputation in its various product markets and long-term partnerships with its customers.
