Meeting at SAE World Congress w/ Sensata (booth# 2318)

Mr. Cannell,

Thanks for your time on the phone today. Enclosed is the information
regarding Sensata's demonstrations at the SAE show.

---------------

Sensata Technologies, formerly Texas Instruments Sensors and Control, is
exhibiting a broad line of safety and performance technologies at SAE for
the first time as a new company -- and is bringing along some interesting
new technologies that demonstrate the company's expanded offering to the
automotive market:

-The market's first piezo resistive-based occupant seat sensor that
classifies a person by measuring the resonate frequency of the human body.
It holds major impact for classification-base air bad deployment systems;

-A number of new vision systems for lane detection and collision avoidance;

-A series of pressure and position sensors for the Electronic Stability
Control systems;

-New humidity and air classification sensors that let consumers control
their quality of their cabin environment, and provides new anti-fogging
capability for safety.

Our executives are available to meet with you to demonstrate these new
technologies (stop by and get "red-lined" at our lane detection demo) and to
talk about a range of automotive design trends including:

-The impact, and challenge, hybrids present to braking and electronic
stability control systems;

-How sensor technologies are creating both "avoidance" and "protection"
solutions for passenger safety;

-U.S. versus European approaches to air bag deployment systems - and the
sensor technologies that meet these needs;

-Why cabin comfort is more than just "hot and cold" these days, and requires
a comprehensive set of humanity and air quality control solutions;

-Where sensors play a role in fuel economy, engine performance and safety.

I'll give you a call soon to see what your schedule looks like and to
possibly book a time for a meeting at our booth (# 2318). Thanks and look
forward to speaking with you soon.
