ORLANDO, Fla.--Rocket City Automotive Group (PINK SHEETS: RCAU), addresses the public and its shareholders to clarify its involvement with AutoTrader.com:
CompleteAuto recently responded to the requests made by multiple automobile dealerships and added a new software product to their platform that allows dealers to list vehicles for sale online at AutoTrader.com. The AutoTrader Company has allowed CompleteAuto to export data to their system, which subsequently results in the current listings that are now available, all of which can be viewed and validated online. RCAU never at any time implied or intended to imply that the product was designed for or directly requested by AutoTrader.com. Furthermore, neither RCAU nor CompleteAuto implied or intended to imply that there is a partnership, affiliation or contract with AutoTrader.com.
“RCAU and CompleteAuto are currently under negotiations with some of America’s most recognized publicly traded companies. Potential business dealings with unrevealed automotive and technology conglomerates would only be jeopardized by the misuse of press releases,” stated Jeff Roman, CEO of RCAU the parent company of CompleteAuto. “We have only issued press releases backed by 100 percent creditability and facts related to existing business relationships or activity. RCAU and CompleteAuto stand behind all press releases that have been issued from the date of inception, and would like to further state that detailed information validating every release can be obtained through simple internet research.”
“It has been a pleasure listing with AutoTrader.com and we feel that their organization is unrivaled in the automotive industry. We have no formal complaints with AutoTrader.com and feel that the process of exporting data to their system is progressing well. It is our belief that there has been a miscommunication between both organizations and we will make every attempt rectify this situation in an expeditious manner. We intend to address the AutoTrader.com release with the appropriate management in their organization to clarify and resolve this matter while continuing to use our software to list vehicles on AutoTrader.com,” stated Jeff Roman.
