WSORR - Unveils New Racing Logo for Season Opener (4-7-07)
CORONA, CA – The Lucas Oil World Series of Off-Road Racing (WSORR) unveiled a new logo for its inaugural 2007 season and beyond (see above). The logo features the familiar Lucas Oil red, white and blue colors with the Series name and a checkered flag placed over an oval with a world map background. The new logo will be featured on all WSORR driver suits, race vehicles, official WSORR attire and publicity material.
The World Series logo development team was led by Manny Gutierrez, Director of Marketing at Lucas Oil Products. “This new logo captures the color, excitement, stability and future growth of the World Series of Off-Road Racing and also complements the other family of race-oriented logos in use by Lucas Oil Products,” said Gutierrez. “I also want to personally thank Yenessie Garcia, Trevor Hocking, Dave Wonser, and the entire Lucas Oil staff for the efforts with this project,” he said.
“The new logo, Lucas Oil and the World Series is a racing group we are very proud to be associated with,” said Gus Frank, chairman, Forest County Potawatomi, the presenting sponsor for the Series. “We look forward to our long-term partnership with the World Series of Off-Road Racing, all the people at Lucas Oil and we look forward to an exciting 2007 season,” he said.
