General Motors Names MANN+HUMMEL 'Supplier and Corporation of the Year'

Prestigious awards for MANN+HUMMEL: General Motors has named the development partner and original equipment supplier as the international automotive industry "Supplier of the Year 2006" and "Corporation of the Year 2006."

The Company, which operates on a global basis, received the award for outstanding overall performance as a component supplier and service provider. MANN+HUMMEL is one of only two companies who have to-date received the General Motors "Supplier of the Year Award" every year for 15 times in succession!

A team from General Motors worldwide, with representatives responsible for purchasing, technology, production and logistics, select the winners of the "Supplier of the Year" award. They base their decision on the supplier's performance with regard to quality, customer service, technology and price. This year, General Motors presented this award to MANN+HUMMEL for the 15th time in succession, something which has to date been achieved by only one other company. The Award ceremony took place on March 31 in Orlando, Florida, where the trophy and the certificate were personally presented by Bo Andersson to Manfred Wolf, Managing Director, and Kurk Wilks, Head of Sales.
