Federal-Mogul Appoints Gérard Chochoy, Senior Vice President, Global Development
SOUTHFIELD, Mich.--Chairman, President and CEO José Maria Alapont announces the appointment of Gérard Chochoy as senior vice president, global development and an officer of the Company, effective March 1, 2007. Chochoy will assume overall responsibility for global development at Federal-Mogul Corporation.
“Gérard brings extensive and varied business and operations experience to Federal-Mogul that will fully support our drive for global profitable growth,” Alapont said. “We look forward to working with Gérard and welcome him to the Federal-Mogul team.”
Previously, Chochoy held senior management positions with several large global manufacturing companies. Most recently, he was executive vice president of the automotive seating group at Faurecia, based in Paris. Prior to that, he was the executive vice president of operations at NEC Computer International, and was group vice president of wiper systems at Valeo.
Chochoy earned a bachelor’s degree in finance and economics from Paris Dauphine University, Paris, France.
