Accuride Announces Appointments
EVANSVILLE, Ind.--Today, Accuride Corporation announced that Steve Holt has been promoted to serve as the Company’s Senior Vice President / Strategy, Growth, and Technology.
Holt, who previously served as the Company’s Vice President / Strategic Management and CIO, will now direct the strategy development for the Company with a focus on growth and new technology.
“In his new role, Steve will lead corporate strategy management and growth initiatives related to the development of new technologies with significant growth potential,” said John Murphy, Accuride’s President and COO.
Holt joined Accuride in 1997 and has approximately 25 years of experience. In addition to directing the global information technology initiatives, Holt has also been responsible for leading the Company’s processes related to continuous improvement and strategy development. Holt holds a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from Augusta University and a Masters in Management from Brescia University.
As part of its overall Corporate strategy, Accuride has created “AccuSolutions” as a customer driven strategy to significantly enhance the Company’s overall portfolio of solutions for its customers. The services include:
- New business technology – Provide new technologies to the industry that leverage our competencies.
- Sourcing solutions – Design, engineer, and source products and components.
- Solution Centers - Establish Accuride facilities near major OEM plants with the ability to receive sourcing solution products and components, perform light assembly, kitting, sequencing, and just-in-time delivery.
Additionally, Terry Neal has joined Accuride as General Manager of AccuSolutions. Terry will initially focus on the development of Solution Centers.
With over 25 years of industry experience, Neal’s most recent focus has been on worldwide aftermarket distribution, as well as both manufacturing and remanufacturing operations. Most recently, Neal served as Division Manager: Operations Customer Support for Bendix LLC. Neal holds a Bachelor of Science in Natural Resources from Ohio State University and a Master of Business Administration from Baldwin Wallace College.
