Shelby Cobra 427 Sport Coupe is Featured Route WIX Collectible in 2007

 

GASTONIA, N.C. (March 8, 2007) - WIX Filtration, part of Affinia Group's
family of brands, is featuring the legendary American roadster Shelby
Cobra 427 Sport Coupe as the 2007 addition to the Route WIX Die Cast
Collectible collection.

            WIX captured the Shelby Cobra 427 Sport Coupe, often thought
of as the most recognized roadster ever built, in a 1:24 scale die cast
replica, complete with a customized paint scheme and WIX filter under
the hood. 

"The Route WIX Die Cast Collectible program has become a customer
favorite, selling close to 100,000 collectibles each year," said Dave
McColley, vice president of marketing for WIX Filters. "We're excited to
add the Shelby Cobra 427 Sport Coupe to the Route WIX collection because
it is a classic vehicle our customers personally requested." 

Counter professionals wishing to participate in the promotion can order
the collectibles until April 15, 2007. The collectibles will be
delivered in September for the customer promotion period which begins in
October. Customers will have the chance to purchase the Shelby Cobra
collectible with the purchase of two WIX filters. 

The WIX Filters Route WIX Die Cast Collectible program is one of 13 WIX
