Carter-2-Motorsports Adds Additional Entry For Lakeland
STATESVILLE, North Carolina (March 7, 2007) -- _Carter-2-Motorsports_ (http://www.carter2motorsports.com/) announced today the addition of a second entry for the upcoming Construct Corps-PBG 250 from USA International Speedway with newcomer Nick Tucker aboard.
Tucker, will join Carter-2-Motorsports primary driver Roger Carter, II when the duo roars into USA International Speedway for the ARCA RE/MAX Series inaugural debut at the ¾-mile Central Florida based bullring on March 24. Tucker, an employee and test driver for Evernham Motorsports will make the first of several ARS (ARCA RE/MAX Series) starts this year in the No. 67 Dodge Charger in the second ARCA event of the season.
"We're looking forward to having a two-car team at Lakeland, especially with a talented driver like Nick Tucker behind the wheel," said Carter, II. "Our team didn't expect to have two cars until Nashville, but our second car program came together quicker than anticipated, so we're ready for Lakeland." For ARS Rookie Nick Tucker, Lakeland is an opportunity to shine.
"I'm very excited about having the opportunity to compete not only for Carter-2-Motorsports, but in the ARCA RE/MAX Series as well," said Tucker, a former competitor in the NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series. “This race is very important for our team. We need a good run and having two cars only increases our chances. Our cars are very much alike which aids us. Roger and I work well together and it helps to have his support. This is the start of good things to come."

The Construct Corps-PBG 250 (250 laps/187 miles) is the second of 23 events on the 2007 ARCA RE/MAX Series schedule. This is an inaugural event at USA International Speedway. Practice begins Friday, March 23 with an hour and a half (4:30-6:00pm) session planned. An additional hour and a half practice (1:00-2:30pm) session is planned on Saturday March 24th. Pork pole qualifying is set for later in the day commencing at 4:30pm. The event will take the green flag starting at 7:30pm. The event will not be televised.
