PRIMEDIA Names Dan Mauch Head of Ad Sales for Digital Automotve Properties

NEW YORK--PRIMEDIA , the country's leading targeted media company, today announced that Daniel Mauch (44) has joined the company as vice president of ad sales for PRIMEDIA Automotive Digital, the companys portfolio of category-leading automotive Web sites. Mr. Mauch will report to Josh Speyer, CEO of PRIMEDIA Automotive Digital.

In his new position, Mr. Mauch will be responsible for all sales, marketing and ad operations across PRIMEDIAs online automotive properties. He also will play an instrumental role in further cementing PRIMEDIAs online auto properties as the leading network for advertisers to connect with auto enthusiasts and in-market buyers.

Mr. Mauch is an accomplished ad sales executive with over twenty years of experience in print, broadcast and online advertising, both at the national and local levels. Most recently, Mr. Mauch worked as vice president - western region, for Centro LLC, an interactive media services company headquartered in Chicago, IL.

Previously, he held the position of director of advertising sales for USA Today.com. From 2004 to November 2005, he worked with The Weather Channel and www.weather.com, where he was in charge of digital ad sales for the Western Region. Mr. Mauch got his start in ad sales at the Times Mirror Company, which publishes The Los Angeles Times, Newsday, The Baltimore Sun and The Hartford Courant.
