Wrap-Up.

17th Annual AETCT Breaks New Ground In Advanced Engineering Technology

Industry leaders reveal cutting edge technology at two-day December event in
Orlando, FL

The Advanced Engineering Technology ConferenceT (AETCT) has been promoting
new ideas for 17 years, and each year it gets even better. An annual
conference for engineers, industry leaders and media, the event focuses on
cementing the connection between theory and practical application. This year
the AETCT was again successful in assembling an excellent mix of these two
disciplines, delivering on both counts.

Each of the speakers who addressed the AETCT attendees was hand picked by
the conference board to reveal his most recent technological innovations.
Among the speakers on the first day of the conference were Ed VanDyne of
Adrenalin Research, Ben Strader of EFI University, Jack Sparks of JE Pistons
and COMP CamsR Lead Camshaft Development Engineer Billy Godbold. Day two's
speakers included Doug Schriefer of Barry Grant, Rick Roberts from
Edelbrock, Andy Bloyce of Oerlikon Balzers Coating AG, Jack Kane of EPI and
Greg Rodriguez of Harley Davidson.

One of the highlights of the conference included VanDyne's discussion of the
Smart Fire software used to establish ideal timing and air/fuel ratios on an
individual cylinder basis, technology to be integrated into SuperFlow dynos
in 2009. Billy Godbold's presentation of "Understanding the Effects of
Stiffness and Mass on Camshaft Optimization" featured some unique technology
displayed through a SpintronR test video that showed valve spring dynamics
in a way never before seen. Both topics were of great interest to an
audience especially tuned to internal engine dynamics as they affect
horsepower and overall performance.

The wrap-up for the conference was a lively discussion between attendees and
AETCT presenters in a group format with the floor open for questions for
all. Plans are already beginning to take shape for the 2007 AETCT that will
again be held just before the PRI show in Orlando,

FL, on December 3-5. For more information about the AETCT, call us at
