Scion Corporate Manager Steve Haag to Address Motor Press Guild March 6

LOS ANGELES, Feb. 27, 2007 -- The Motor Press Guild (MPG), America's largest professional automotive media association, announces Steve Haag, corporate manager of Scion will be the featured speaker at its March 6 meeting. Haag will talk about Scion as a company, its approach to selling vehicles and its success since the launch of the Toyota brand extension in 2003. Haag will discuss the Scion difference from the dealership atmosphere to the ownership and customization experience.

Scion just unveiled a new design and a new product at the Chicago Auto Show; the redesigned xB and the all-new xD. Haag will address how Scion will continue to extend its marketing strategy to the youthful lifestyle of its drivers.

Haag has dedicated a quarter of a century to Toyota Motor Sales in various capacities. He first joined the company in 1982 as a management trainee and has since held numerous management positions with Toyota, Lexus and now Scion. Haag was promoted to corporate manager of Scion in 2005 and is responsible for Scion's overall operations, including sales, distribution, marketing, product development, and customer service.
