The Musclecar Reunion and Nostalgia Drags kicks off its groundbreaking
first event with the intensity of a Kansas twister. Waves of classic
musclecars, a huge round of Nostalgia drag cars battling for thousands of
dollars in racing payouts and a world title, super car show, big swap meet,
and manufacturers' midway make the Musclecar Reunion and Nostalgia
Drags one of the heavy-hitter events right out of the gate.
Special VIP Guest at the Musclecar Reunion and Nostalgia Drags is drag
racing legend Don "Big Daddy" Garlits, #1 drag racer of all time. Big
Daddy will be on hand all weekend and will delight crowds with his famed
front-engine Swamp Rat 8 dragster. Bring your cameras!
Mark your calendars for October 6-7, 2007. The air will be cool and the
cars will be hot as the Nostalgia Pro Comp Association brings its season
to a high-winding climax at the Musclecar Reunion and Nostalgia Drags.
The track will come alive with front engine dragsters, altereds, funny cars,
and gassers appearing as in the sizzling 1960s. Also lighting up the
quarter mile will be the Nostalgia Super Stock cars.
Show cars from 1955-'74 are invited to the Fun Field, where participants
can park, relax, and take in the wonderful weekend with the family. Up to
10 concours show cars will be carefully judged in their quest to win the
Muscle Car Reunion Platinum Star Certificate.
