23rd ANNUAL NHRA CHECKER SCHUCK'S KRAGEN NATIONALS
FIREBIRD INTERNATIONAL RACEWAY -- CHANDLER, ARIZONA
FEBRUARY 23-25, 2007*

*Jason Line No. 1, Greg Anderson No. 4 and Hillary Will No. 7
after two of four qualifying sessions*

Chandler, Ariz. (February 23, 2005) -- The KB Racing team has completed
day one of qualifying for the NHRA Checker Schuck's Kragen Nationals at
Firebird International Raceway in Chandler, Ariz., just outside Phoenix.

Greg Anderson (Pro Stock: Summit Racing Equipment Pontiac GTO) qualified
No. 4. He was No. 1 after the first session but was bumped from the top
spot in the second; Anderson's teammate Jason Line (Pro Stock: Summit
Racing Equipment Pontiac GTO) ended the first of two qualifying sessions
in the No. 2 position. Then in the second session, he jumped to the top
of the hill, taking the No. 1 position; while, Hillary Will (KB Racing
LLC-owned, Kalitta Motorsports-managed Top Fuel dragster) holds the No.
7 position with a strong showing in the second session.

*Quote from Jason Line on qualifying No. 1 after two of four qualifying
sessions:*
"The conditions were good," said Line. "The starting line is really
good, and down track we struggled a little bit, but all in all it was a
great run. I didn't think it was going to be that good, at least in the
car it didn't feel that good. But really, it was pretty phenomenal,
especially the back half. I don't think we thought we'd run that kind
of speed here at Phoenix, but I think it's going to be fast here all
weekend. As the whole class gets used to the racetrack, it's going to
get faster. We feel like there's definitely something left there, for
sure. I know we say that about every run, but I honestly do feel like
there's something left, and not just for us, but for everybody."

*Greg Anderson (No. 4):

Qualifying:
Session 1 Friday: 6.667 seconds at 208.39 mph (#1)
Session 2 Friday: 6.681 seconds at 207.98 mph (#4)*

*TOP FUEL*:

*Hillary Will (No. 7):*
