23rd ANNUAL NHRA CHECKER SCHUCK'S KRAGEN NATIONALS
FIREBIRD INTERNATIONAL RACEWAY -- CHANDLER, ARIZONA
FEBRUARY 23-25, 2007*

*Hillary Will and team seek to rebound at Firebird*

CHANDLER, Ariz. (February 22, 2007) -- If any team and driver needs a
break thus far this season, then the KB Racing LLC-owned, Kalitta
Motorsports-managed Top Fuel dragster team, with driver Hillary Will, is
at the top of the list.

First, in the final testing session at Las Vegas, just one week prior to
the season-opening NHRA Winternationals, Will was involved in a violent
crash that completely destroyed her dragster. As scary as the crash
was, the Attac-built dragster safely protected Will and she escaped
without serious injury. The Kalitta Motorsports crew prepared a back-up
car and had Will back on the track two days later.

At the first race on the 2007 NHRA POWERade Drag Racing Series schedule,
the NHRA CARQUEST Auto Parts Winternationals in Pomona, Calif., lady
luck was again not on the team's side. In the opening round of
eliminations, the clutch linkage on Will's KB Racing dragster broke
during the burnout and another opportunity for a win light was lost.

Now as qualifying begins Friday for the NHRA Checker Schuck's Kragen
Nationals at Firebird International Raceway the team hopes the bad luck
of the last few weeks is behind them and blue skies and good fortune is
in their future.

"There's no denying that our KB Racing team has experienced a rough
start to the 2007 season," said Will. "I have no doubt that we will
change our luck beginning at Firebird Raceway this weekend. I have many
round wins here in super comp and super gas. I got my first
professional round win here in 2006 and our team made our career fastest
lap, 323 mph, down the racetrack here last year.

"Our team has had a week off after a grueling preseason testing
schedule. I think we are all refreshed and ready to win the race."

A good qualifying effort and going rounds during eliminations would put
Will back in the mix of things for the 2007 Countdown to the Championship.

In its simplest form, the Countdown breaks the $50 million, 23-event
NHRA POWERade Drag Racing Series season up into three distinct sections:
the 17-race Countdown to 8, the four-race Countdown to 4 and the
two-race Countdown to 1.

After the 17 regular season races, only the top eight drivers advance
into the first round of the four-race playoffs with the top driver being
assigned 2,070 points and each of the remaining drivers 10 fewer points
each (eighth-place is assigned 2,000 points).

The top four drivers after the four-race playoff will have their points
reassigned again in 10-point increments with the first-place driver
receiving 3,030 and the fourth-place driver 3,000.

The championship will then be determined over the final two races -- the
ACDelco Las Vegas NHRA Nationals in Las Vegas and the Auto Club NHRA
Finals in Pomona -- with those final four drivers competing for the 2007
POWERade Series championships.
