Transnational Automotive Group Ships 30 New City Buses to Cameroon to Expand 'LeBus' Urban Bus Operations in Yaounde

- New Buses Are Anticipated to Triple Current Capacity to 40,000 Passengers Per Day and Employ an Additional 425 Staff

LOS ANGELES, Feb. 20 -- Transnational Automotive Group, Inc. (TAUG) (BULLETIN BOARD: TAMG) , a global leader in transportation services and sustainable energy development, today announced that on February 22, 2007 the company will ship 30 new city buses from Shanghai to the Republic of Cameroon to augment TAUG's urban bus system, LeBus, in Cameroon's capital city, Yaounde.

The TAUG vehicles are new "Higer" city buses manufactured by China's leading bus manufacturer, Kinglong United Automotive Industry (Suzhou) Co. The shipment of 30 city buses are the first of 60 additional buses ordered by TAUG for its Yaounde operations. TAUG anticipates that the first 30-bus shipment will arrive in Cameroon approximately March 24, 2007, followed by the remaining 30 buses 30-45 days later.

TAUG estimates that its entire Cameroon project will require 750 - 800 buses, which will be integrated at a rate of approximately 30 every 30-45 days until its operations reach full capacity.

"When these buses arrive in Douala, we will quickly integrate them into our route systems," said Mr. Bokwe Mofor, director general of LeBus. "We will open four new lines in Yaounde with these buses."

"With the arrival of these city buses, LeBus will be one major step closer to meeting its goal of 100-percent capacity in Yaounde by fall 2007," said Don Durand, president of African Operations for TAUG. "Guided by our recent Yaounde operational experience, these Higer buses are more robust than our first shipment of 'pilot phase' vehicles, and will enable increased efficiencies and lower maintenance costs."

This delivery fulfills a significant part of TAUG's ongoing contract with Cameroon's central government, in which TAUG will provide bus service for the country's major urban areas.

"The arrival of additional buses in Cameroon represents another significant event for the general public and the Government," said Dr. Ralph Thomson, chairman and CEO of TAUG. "Yaounde and Cameroon's other major cities have been without adequate bus transportation for many years. We are honored to participate in this transportation infrastructure transformation, which will powerfully impact Cameroon's people, employment, and overall economic development."
