Reed Sorenson and the No. 41 Wrigley's Juicy Fruit Dodge Team Facts:
* Happy Birthday, Reed! Before leaving North Carolina to head
south to Florida for the 2007 Speedweeks at Daytona International
Speedway, Sorenson turned 21 on Monday, Feb. 5.
* Welcome Aboard, Wrigley! Chip Ganassi Racing with Felix
Sabates (CGRFS) and the Wm. Wrigley Jr. Company are teaming up this
season to take the world's largest manufacturer and marketer of chewing
gum NASCAR racing for the first time in its 110-plus year history. The
new partnership was announced in November 2006 and will debut in this
Saturday's Orbitz 300 at Daytona, with Sorenson behind the wheel of the
No. 41 Wrigley's Juicy Fruit Dodge. Throughout the 2007 NASCAR Busch
Series season, Sorenson and Wrigley's Juicy Fruit brand will share their
No. 41 ride with fellow teammate and brand-David Stremme and Wrigley's
Winterfresh(r). Sorenson is tabbed to compete in 15 NASCAR Busch races
for Wrigley, while Stremme will race seven for the confectionary leader.
On the NASCAR Cup side of things, Juan Pablo Montoya will take Wrigley's
Big Red(r) brand NEXTEL Cup racing, making the No. 42 Wrigley's Big Red
debut at Chicagoland Speedway in mid-July. CGRFS is honored to represent
the historic and innovative company, and plans on chewing a lot of gum
in Victory Lane this 2007 season.
* 2007 Game Plan: Sorenson will compete in both NASCAR races
at Daytona this upcoming weekend. First, he will make his 2007 NASCAR
Busch Series debut in the No. 41 Wrigley's Juicy Fruit Dodge on Saturday
in the Orbitz 300. He will then make his second career run in the
historic Daytona 500 on Sunday in the No. 41 Target Dodge. This will be
the story at many companion Busch and NEXTEL Cup events this year as
Sorenson takes on a part-time schedule in the Busch Series and pursues
his sophomore season in the NASCAR NEXTEL Cup Series.
* Daytona History: Sorenson's career-first NASCAR start at
Daytona International Speedway, in February 2005, was an impressive
effort as the then-19-year old grabbed a top-five starting position and
went on to score a ninth-place finish, never falling outside the top 15
the entire 120-lap competition. To-date, Sorenson has four NASCAR Busch
Series starts at Daytona. He has a running tally that includes one
top-five and three top-10 starts, along with two ninth-place finishes.
* Here's Something to Chew On: Did you know Wrigley's Juicy
Fruit was one of the first two products introduced by Wrigley more than
110 years ago? Today, Wrigley's brands are sold in more than 180
countries with production facilities located in 13 countries and offices
in nearly three-dozen countries, and more than 14,000 employees
worldwide.
* Racing Close to Home: Three members of the No. 41 Wrigley's
Juicy Fruit team will be racing a little closer to home this weekend in
the Sunshine State. Crew chief Brian Pattie hails from Zephyrhills,
Fla., along with the team's shock specialist and front tire carrier,
Adam Cooke. The two grew up together in the Florida town. Bruce Jones,
a team mechanic, is also from Florida. He calls Lakeland his hometown
and still has many family and friends who reside in the area.
* Chassis: Brian Pattie and the No. 41 Wrigley's Juicy Fruit
team will take the green flag on Saturday, Feb. 17, at Daytona
International Speedway with the same chassis--#551-they raced at the
Florida track last February, when Sorenson and team took two early-race
setbacks and turned them into a second-half comeback. The team
maintained a top-10 run the remainder of the race and survived a
last-lap colossal collision to grab a ninth-place finish (started 13th).
* When the Green Flag Waves: Don't miss the season-opening
Orbitz 300. The race is schedule to start at 1:15 p.m. ET on Saturday,
Feb. 17, and will broadcast live on ESPN2 (TV), MRN (Radio) and Sirius
Satellite Radio Channel 128.

first-career run in this weekend's Daytona 500 on Sunday, but before
that he will also make a career-first start in the NASCAR Busch Series
Daytona season-opener on Saturday, as well. Saturday's run in the
Orbitz 300 will be Montoya's fifth official NASCAR Busch start and
Sunday's run in the Daytona 500 will be Montoya's second NEXTEL Cup

Prix, the Indianapolis 500 and most recently the 24 Hours of Daytona.
* Cup quals; Montoya qualified fourth in his first Daytona 500
qualifying effort on Sunday, the top Raybestos Rookie qualifier. He

Thursday to determine his starting position for the "Great American
Race."
* Happy 20th!: For 20 years, the distinctive star of

Jarrett and Ricky Rudd.
* Star in the Sky: Tab Boyd, Montoya's spotter, will be
posting exclusive insights, track happenings and commentary that someone
can only get from being inside the No. 42 team on the Texaco/Havoline
website. Boyd will have a one-of-kind look at Montoya's rookie year
from atop the spotters stand. His blog will be posted weekly at
www.texacohavoline42.com/boyd.
