Daytona Speedweeks: Ford Racing Will Host 30,000 at Ford Race and Rock Fest

  WHAT & WHO     Two Ford Racing-sponsored events to jumpstart Speedweeks:
              -- Free "Ford Race & Rock Fest," with headliners Eddie Money
                 and Sammy Kershaw and a host of hot local bands. Continuous
                 performances on stage, along with special guest appearances
                 by Ford NASCAR driver Greg Biffle and others. City has
                 closed off three blocks of Beach Street for the expected
                 crowd of 30,000 for both days. Lots of side activities,
                 including midway-style rides, NASCAR show cars and games
                 for all ages.
              -- Ford previews the supreme beast-of-burden F-450 Super Duty
                 truck during a no-cover-charge celebration, called "Super
                 Duty Saloon," at the Ocean Deck Restaurant and Beach Club,
                 with local bands and appearances by Ford race drivers.

                3 p.m.-11 p.m. Beach Street, between International Speedway
                Boulevard and Mary McLeod Boulevard.
                -- Super Duty Saloon: Next Thursday-Saturday, Feb. 17,
