Carl Edwards to Participate in Unique Speed Dating Event

What: It's Speed Dating - NASCAR STYLE! To celebrate the
launch of its new NASCAR book series, Harlequin is hosting a SPEED
DATING event to get hearts racing with the sports growing network of
fans (all 75 millions of them).
Carl Edwards, driver of the No. 99 Office Depot
Ford Fusion for Roush Racing, will wave the green flag on this
unexpected dating track along with USA Today best selling author Nancy
Warren who penned the series' debut title, Speed Dating. Edwards' car,
the No.99 Office Depot Ford Fusion, will be parked outside the tent for
fans to look at and take pictures during the event.

Detail: In response to positive fan reaction and growing
sales of the three officially licensed NASCAR titles released in 2006,
Harlequin, one of the world's leading publishers of women's fiction, and
NASCAR are launching a new NASCAR-themed book series. The two companies
are expanding their relationship with the release of 20 books throughout
2007, 16 of which will be part of this new series.
Carl Edwards is available for interviews from 12-1 PM to talk about his
work with Harlequin and his literary debut as a wise racing veteran in
Speed Dating. Interviews with Edwards are by RSVP only. Harlequin and
NASCAR spokespeople will also be on hand to talk about the new racing
romance series in the NASCAR Library Collection. Fans attending the
event will have a chance to win door prizes, including Office Depot gift
cards.
