NEXTEL Leader Bonus - $10,000
The NEXTEL Leader Bonus increases by $10,000 each race and is awarded only when the race winner is the same as the point leader. Each time the bonus is awarded, the money starts over at $10,000.  

NEXTEL Experience Fan Appreciation Day - Friday, Feb. 16
To commemorate the grand opening of the 2007 version of the NEXTEL Experience, race fans are invited to attend Fan Appreciation Day on Friday, Feb. 16, from noon - 7 p.m. The day will include VIP appearances every hour and numerous door prizes. One of the highlight giveaways will be 25 pairs of VIP stage-front tickets to NEXTEL Tribute to America featuring Kelly Clarkson, the pre-race concert for the DAYTONA 500(r). The NEXTEL Experience is located outside Turn 4 in the midway area of Daytona International Speedway. If interested in attending, please contact a Sprint Nextel PR representative.
