Scott Lagasse Jr. and the No. 4 Prosperity Bank Team Facts:

 

*          Chassis:  Crew Chief Steve Boyer and the No. 4 Prosperity
Bank Team have selected chassis #210 for this weekend's race at Daytona.
This car most recently competed in the ARCA race at Talladega
Superspeedway last October, when Juan Pablo Montoya drove it in his
stock car debut to the outside pole position and a third-place finish.  

 

*          Scott Lagasse Jr. Day:  To celebrate Scott Lagasse Jr.'s ARCA
200 run at Daytona International Speedway this Saturday, Lagasse's alma
mater-Flagler College-celebrated February 6 as Scott Lagasse Jr. Day at
its St. Augustine, Fla., campus.  More than 1,000 students attended the
pep rally that included speeches by Flagler President Dr. William Abare,
Cunningham Motorsports Team Owner Kerry Sheer, President and CEO of
Prosperity Bank Eddie Creamer, and Lagasse. 

 

*          Remembering the Past, to Invest in the Future:  During the
February 6 Scott Lagasse Jr. Day festivities at Flagler College, Lagasse
announced the creation of the Josh Zwieg Memorial Scholarship fund which
is an education scholarship the 26-year old started in memory of his
late friend and former high school classmate.

 

*          Repeat Run:  This weekend will mark Lagasse's second ARCA run
at Daytona.  He competed in the 2006 Daytona ARCA race, where he lined
up 11th to take the green flag and then finished the day 29th.  

 

*          Development Driver:  This 2007 season is Lagasse's third year
as a development driver at Chip Ganassi Racing with Felix Sabates
(CGRFS).  He officially became part of the CGRFS driver development
program in 2005.
 

*          Did you know?:  In his first ever modified start, at the age
of 16, Lagasse Jr. captured the pole, led every lap and won the modified
competition, becoming the youngest driver to take the checkered flag at
a modified event at St. Augustine (Fla.) Speedway.  



*          Sunshine Homeboy:  Lagasse Jr. hails from the Sunshine State,
calling St. Augustine his hometown. 



*          Let's Go Racing:  The ARCA 200 is scheduled to start at 4:15
p.m. ET on Saturday, Feb. 10, and will broadcast live on SPEED (TV).
