Billy Tanner Daytona Preview

Billy Tanner Prepared for First Daytona Run

For Immediate Release

(2/5/07 - Mooresville, NC) - Northeast dirt modified driver, Billy Tanner
is prepared for his first run at the 2.5 mile superspeedway at Daytona. Tanner
of Newtown, Pennsylvania has honed his driving skills on the dirt tracks of
the Northeast in quarter midgets, dirt sportsmen and most recently 358 Dirt
modifieds.

Tanner a third generation racer is following in the footsteps of his father,
Bill Tanner III who had a long career as a stock car driver on the tracks of
the surrounding area in Pennsylvania. Tanner's grandfather was also a local
feature winner and even competed on the beach that once was Daytona Speedway.

Billy Tanner participated in the ARCA RE/MAX Series test session at Daytona
International Speedway back in December in the seat of the #75 Bob Schacht
Motorsports Ford and turned some impressive lap times, in the top-25 on the
speed charts for most of the 3-day test.

"Billy did a good job at the test," said Bob Schacht, owner and crew chief
of Bob Schacht Motorpsorts," For a kid who has never raced at a superspeedway
before and has a dirt racing background, he listened and learned, I think
we'll be good for the race."

"Making the transition from the dirt short tracks to the 2.5 mile asphalt
superspeedway is no small step," said Tanner, "there is a lot of pressure.
Someone was handing me everything I could ever want and when I drove through that
tunnel at Daytona for the test back in December, I knew it was game time and
I had to produce." Tanner added, "I think we had a pretty good test and I
got comfortable in the car, we ran some good laps and got to know the team. It's
hard to explain how amazingly excited I am to be hooked up with Bob Schacht
Motorsports, I know I have a lot to learn and Bob is an awesome teacher and
they are all a great team to work with."

Tanner who grew up in the Philadelphia region of Pennsylvania says, "My Dad
is a big supporter of my racing efforts and without him I doubt I would be
where I am right now." As for motivation, Tanner says, "I've always tried to
fashion my strong will and determination after the boxers of the Philly area,
like Bernard Hopkins and Joe Frazier, I've always been impressed by the drive
and focus those guys have."

Tanner is bringing along with him CheapCaribbean.com, his dirt modified and
sportsman sponsor from Pennsylvania. " I can't thank CheapCaribbean.com enough
for all of their efforts in helping me make it to this level." said Tanner,
"Jim Hobbs, the owner of CheapCaribbean.com takes a heavy interest in my
racing career and is a huge supporter, I wouldn't be here without him and
CheapCaribbean.com."

Billy Tanner and the Bob Schacht Motorsports Team will have the
CheapCaribbean.com Ford at Daytona International Speedway on Thursday 2/8 for a practice
session from 12 Noon to 5:00 PM, Friday 2/9 is Pork Pole qualifying at 12
Noon followed by final practice from 5:10 PM to 6:15 PM. The Daytona ARCA 200
is set to take the green flag on Saturday 2/10 at 4:15 PM, Live on the SPEED
channel.
