SAN DIEGO--Nick Scuderi, vice president of the Scuderi Group, will be in San Diego to exhibit the breakthrough Air-Hybrid Engine, which could potentially be the world’s most fuel efficient internal combustion automobile engine.
WHEN: 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Feb. 7 – 8, 2007
WHERE: Holiday Inn on the Bay, 1355 N. Harbor Drive, San Diego, Calif.
WHAT: Exhibiting information about the renowned Scuderi Air-Hybrid Engine at the 2007 SAE Hybrid Vehicle Technologies Symposium. (http://www.sae.org/events/training/symposia/hybrid)
The engine takes advantage of Scuderi’s groundbreaking split-cycle technology, by recapturing and storing energy in the form of compressed air. Unlike conventional engines, the Scuderi Engine produces compressed air during its normal operation. While electric hybrids are struggling to reach a 50 percent increase, the Scuderi Air-Hybrid is anticipated to double the gas mileage of a vehicle and emit 80 percent less toxins while increasing power and performance. This patented design represents the most significant breakthrough for internal combustion engines to come along in decades, an advance that takes on added significance given rising fuel prices and growing environmental concerns.
