Pedro Ferro Will Lead Webb Wheel Products
CULLMAN, Ala., Feb. 1, 2007 -- Pedro Ferro has been named president of Webb Wheel Products, Inc. He comes to Webb Wheel from Arvin Meritor, Inc., where he had global responsibility for brakes and wheel ends as vice president and general manager, Braking Systems and Commercial Vehicle Emissions.
In announcing Mr. Ferro's appointment, Kelly Dier, president of Marmon Highway Technologies, said, "With Pedro's extensive industry experience and leadership qualities, we look forward to building on Webb Wheel's industry leading positions through unsurpassed innovation, quality and service to our customers."
Mr. Ferro joined Arvin Meritor in 2001 from Motor Coach Industries, where he served as executive vice president of sales, marketing and distribution. Previously, he spent 14 years with Cummins Inc. in management positions including vice president of automotive information products business. With an advanced degree in distribution and logistics from Instituto de Engenharia in Maua, Brazil, Mr. Ferro also holds a degree in industrial administration from FCAV-University of Sao Paulo. He earned a bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering from Faculdade de Engenharia Industrial (FEI) and is fluent in English, Portuguese and Spanish.
