Autoland Awards $15,000 Grand Prize to Long-Time SESLOC Credit Union Member
SHERMAN OAKS, Calif.--Autoland (http://www.autoland.com), the nation’s oldest and most successful Credit Union auto-buying service, has awarded a $15,000 sweepstakes grand prize to Betty Schoepf of San Luis Obispo, Calif., a member of the School Employees of San Luis Obispo County (SESLOC) Federal Credit Union.
Betty and her husband, Byrle, have been SESLOC members for more than 30 years. He worked in the Cal Poly Grounds Department, and they’ve both been Amway distributors since 1959. This April Fool’s Day they’ll celebrate both their 59th wedding anniversary and Betty’s 78th birthday. They’ve got five kids, 14 grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. According to Byrle, they plan to invest their winnings.
The awarding of the grand prize capped a year-long Autoland sweepstakes called the 2006 Member Exclusive Giveaway. Each month Autoland chose at random two Credit Union members, and they each won either a $500 Visa Gift Card or a $500 Shell Gift Card, along with a chance at the $15,000 grand prize. Betty’s name was chosen at random for the grand prize from among the 24 qualifying members. Autoland is repeating the sweepstakes again this year.
“This is just a fun way to give back to the members,” said Ron Frey, Autoland CEO. “We’re constantly looking for ways we can add even more value for our Credit Union partners and for their members – always working to maintain our position as the premier auto-buying partner for Credit Unions.”
As the industry’s leading auto-buying service, Autoland gives Credit Union members a better way to buy both new and used cars – saving them time and frustration and making the entire process easy and hassle-free.
