Phoenix Motorcars to Exhibit All-Electric SUT at Faster Freight - Cleaner Air Conference and Expo - VIDEO ENHANCED

ONTARIO, CA - February 1, 2007: Phoenix Motorcars, a manufacturer of battery-electric, freeway-speed fleet vehicles, will showcase a new zero-emission, all-electric, sport utility truck (SUT) during the Faster Freight - Cleaner Air Conference and Expo at the Long Beach Convention Center scheduled for Feb. 26-28, 2007.

The green SUT is an economical and energy-efficient solution to improve operations and will be on display at booth 313 in the exhibit hall. Conference attendees will also have the opportunity to test-drive the innovative SUT at the 'Ride and Drive' activity scheduled on Wed., Feb. 28 from 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. located at the main entrance of the Long Beach Convention Center.

Phoenix Motorcars is an early leader in the mass production of full-function, green electric trucks and SUVs for commercial fleet use. To eliminate noise and toxic vehicle emissions that contribute to air pollution, the Phoenix Motorcars SUT is powered by the revolutionary Altairnano NanoSafe battery pack, a non-toxic, all-battery solution. The Phoenix Motorcars SUT can cruise on the freeway at up to 95 m.p.h. while carrying five passengers and a full payload. Phoenix Motorcars targets operators of fleet vehicles, such as public utilities, public transportation providers and delivery services. This market presents a significant opportunity as there are more than 200,000 fleet vehicles in the state of California alone, with an increasing number of fleet operators now seeking freeway-capable, zero-emission, all-electric vehicles. A limited number of vehicles will be available to consumers in 2007 with an expanded consumer launch scheduled for 2008. Phoenix Motorcars will introduce an SUV model in late 2007.
