Victorville Motors Proudly Supports the Salvation Army

VICTORVILLE, Calif., Jan. 31, 2007 -- Victorville Motors Chrysler Jeep Dodge, proud supporter of the Salvation Army Victor Valley Corps, held a seven-day vehicle sale December 26th through New Year's Day during which $100 from each new and used vehicle sale was donated directly to the Salvation Army. With the help of their loyal guests and the community, Victorville Motors raised and donated a total of $5,800. "The Salvation Army deeply appreciates the support and generosity Victorville Motors has given to the community with this gift. The Salvation Army will continue our ministry with a 'Heart to God and a Hand to Man'," said Captain Cathy Whipple, Corps Officer of the Salvation Army Victor Valley Corps.

This past holiday season, Victorville Motors proudly donated toys to over 100 less fortunate High Desert children through the Salvation Army's "Angel Tree Program." They also provided volunteers for the Salvation Army "Mervyn's Shopping Spree" to assist less fortunate children in purchasing clothes and other basic daily living needs. "It is truly rewarding to directly support to such a worthy cause right here in our own community," said Tim Watts, Chief Operating Officer of Victorville Motors.
