Greystone Enters into Talks with Canadian Firm
ADDISON, Texas--Addison-based Greystone Digital Technologies, Inc., a market reseller of data integration software to government and law enforcement, announced that it has entered into talks with the management of eBox, Inc. of Toronto, Canada, and intends to acquire all of the outstanding stock of eBox on an undisclosed basis.
eBox has developed patented and proprietary equipment and systems utilizing RFID technology that enables unattended pick-up and delivery in the so-called "last-mile" supply chain distribution market. eBox reported annual revenues of $2.7 Million for the fiscal year ending December 2005. Revenue figures for the fiscal year just ending December 2006 are not yet available and will reflect the sale of its auto parts division during the third quarter.
eBox executives indicated that they are enthusiastic about the potential relationship with Greystone as it offers the company a broad range of additional technical resource capability and access to new market opportunities.
Charles Terrell, Vice-Chairman of Greystone, stated that the acquisition greatly enhances the services offered by Greystone in both government and the private sector.
