Ryan Howard and Country Joe Racing Join Forces for Daytona


Lakeville, MN (01-23-07) – Country Joe Racing (CJR) announced today that 
Ryan Howard would pilot the #32 Dodge entry at the ARCA RE/MAX Series opener 
at Daytona International Speedway.

The 21-year-old, Tipp City, Ohio native was the highest ranked rookie in 
driver points, in the 2006 ARCA RE/MAX Series, finishing fourth overall.  
Ryan has competed in the USAC National Sprint Car Tour and driven other 
non-winged sprint cars on various tracks throughout the Midwest.

“I am excited to be a part of the Country Joe Race team.  This is a very 
good opportunity for me to be working with a team of this caliber.  We are 
really looking forward to a solid run at Daytona,” commented Howard.  “I 
would also like to recognize and thank Colt Atlantic Services and Midwest 
Switchgear Services for joining our team for a great start to the 2007 
racing season.”

“Ryan is a good fit with our team.  He is willing to learn and has the drive 
and determination to be successful,” said Kevin Cywinski, of Country Joe 
Racing.  “We are looking forward to an exciting run at Daytona.”

Country Joe Racing is not unaccustomed to success.  The Minnesota based, 
ARCA RE/MAX team has claimed Rookie of the Year honors in both 2006 and 
2005.  In 2006, along with a number of top-five and top-ten finishes, the 
team earned a win at Salem Speedway, pole positions at Berlin Raceway and 
The Milwaukee Mile, and the coveted Bill France Triple Crown Award.

RE/MAX season opener, at Daytona International Speedway, will be on
