XPEL Headlight Products a Requirement for All GT Series Race Car Entries
SAN ANTONIO--XPEL Technologies Corp. (TSXV:DAP.U) announced today that in conjunction with Synergy Racing (www.synergyracing.com), it will be providing the exclusive headlight protection covers for the entire Rolex Sports Car Series presented by Crown Royal Special Reserve GT field in the upcoming Rolex 24 Hour at Daytona. Grand-Am (www.grand-am.com), the sanctioning body for the prestigious ‘twice around the clock’ event, which has been held annually since 1962, has updated its race requirements for entrants to include XPEL’s amber-colored headlamp protection.
Scott Spencer, Deputy Director of Competition, stated, “The approval of XPEL headlight covers for the Rolex GT Class was a simple decision. We wanted the best protection for our teams’ equipment and the safety of our workers, along with the standardization of colored pre-cut products to fit each and every type of car on our grid, and we found all of this with XPEL.”
XPEL is proud to partner with its dealer Synergy Racing for supplying both product and ‘at-the-track’ technical assistance for the entire 15-race Rolex Series GT Class schedule. Kerrigan Smith, Competition Director at Synergy stated, “Once we teamed up with XPEL, we were treated to not only the most durable film we had ever tested, but also a product that came pre-cut for our exact application, and they fit perfectly. We immediately became a dealer for XPEL, and are proud to be supplying the entire field with the best possible product, pre-cut for their race cars.”
